Wildwood Community Garden News

We are very appreciative of all the volunteer help we’ve had over the last two gardening seasons and the first few weeks of this season. The trees and fruit-bearing shrubs are leafing out, the gardens are planted and we await the beauty and fun yet to come!

When you visit, please remember to:

  • Walk on the bark mulch pathways.
  • Walk beside the family gardening spaces. They have worked hard to stake out and plant food together!
  • Leave the rock work around the beds.
  • Leave vegetation in its natural state. We hope to have more plantings throughout the summer in the food forest – more saskatoons, more cherries, AND apple trees gifted by the Grade Six students leaving Wildwood Elementary School and Miller Gee!

Thank you for helping our garden grow!
