Children’s Gardening Program

The first Children’s Gardening Program was a big success. 20 children gathered with their parents to learn about seeds and sprouts and mini greenhouses! Janet Melrose, Calgary’s Cottage Gardener, was a truly inspiring and fun instructor! We hope you will join us next time on Sat. April 25th when Janet will return with some more hands on planting activities in the community garden. Thank you to all who attended and to our great helpers Claire Graham, Sophie Neil and Lindsay Smith!

The Community Garden is excited about another season of Children’s Gardening at the Wildwood Community Garden for all kids ages 4 to 12. Parent or caregiver must accompany child.
