Wildwood Community Garden

It has been wonderful to see so many neighbours enjoying the community garden this Spring! Please continue to wander through and enjoy the blossoms and growth! The tarragon, chives and rhubarb are ready; and the strawberries will be ripening soon. You are welcome to take a sample but please leave some for our neighbours and friends. The fruit trees and shrubs are blossoming, providing nectar for the native pollinators and honeybees. We are hoping to be able to share some apples and maybe even some pears at the Harvest Festival — Sat., Sept. 19th from 1 to 4.

By the time you are reading this, three raised beds will be added to the garden area. We enlisted and appreciated the guidance of ReGenerate Design to help us plan and install the beds. Thank you to everyone who came out to help at the permablitz on Sunday, May 24th, we hope you enjoyed it and came way with some ideas for your own gardens.

We are looking for some plants for the food forest. If you have any rhubarb, strawberries, comfrey or asparagus you want to divide, please contact garden@mywildwood.ca Thank you for considering!
