It All Starts in the Soil
Thurs. March 31st, 2016 7-8:30pm
Wildwood Community Hall
Hosted by: Mike Dorion, owner of “Living Soil Solutions”
Over the past 100 years we have looked at the physical properties of soil and the chemical components that make it up. Just recently, we have started to see the other piece of the puzzle — the Biological side, (the microscopic world that ties it all together). Mike will enlighten us with his knowledge of the underground world of soil, give us tips on composting and compost teas. Learn ways to keep your yard and garden healthy for your kids, grandkids and pets! Mike has helped create the healthy soil at the community garden since the beginning with compost tea applications. We are grateful for the abundance of food we have each growing season!
Donations welcome. Pay what you can. Suggested amount $10.00/family.
All proceeds go to the care and maintenance of the community garden.
