The Wildwood Community Garden Children’s Gardening Program will introduce children, ages 4 – 12, to the fun of caring for a garden and growing food together with friends, old and new! There are four dates planned with special gardening themes and interesting guest speakers:

Learn about soil and our microorganism friends!

Explore the community garden, work on a craft, put some insects to work and meet some neighbours!

Join some of our community gardeners and our special guest – one of the scientists and owners of Puzzle Permaculture, Sara, a science educator, gardener and permaculturist!

There was to be a small cost, however, this has been waived as a result of a community resident’s donation!

What should we bring?

  • Water and a snack
  • Hat and gardening gloves
  • Sunscreen
  • AND a parent. Yes, parents will enjoy this too! (sorry, this is not a drop off program)
