The City has confirmed their large compactor trucks for May 23rd, so now we need you to confirm that you will be volunteering to make this event a success (Yes, some people have already told me they will be there!). We will also need our usual contingent of local trucks!! So please mark your calendars now! We will meet as usual at the Community Hall the Saturday morning after the May long weekend to scour all of Wildwood’s back alleys to remove the assorted debris placed out by homeowners which have built up since last year.

Send an e-mail to cleanup@mywildwood.ca to get your name and your truck on the list. Volunteers without trucks are also needed, so bring your coveralls and work gloves and join in. The event starts at 8:00 am sharp, rain or shine and it’s usually all done by 1:00pm. It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbours, enjoy some refreshments and help your community.

We would like to encourage everyone to get out into their back lane and organize the debris that is out there so our volunteers can easily clean up your back lane. This is your chance to improve the look of the community behind your house!
