New for 2023, Wildwood Baseball!

Registration is NOW OPEN!

The Wildwood Baseball Program is a parented (not drop off), non-competitive program, whose focus is to teach baseball skills in a fun environment. This program is coordinated by volunteer parents/COACHES and volunteering is a mandatory part of the program.  Yes, we need YOU to help out on the field.

All ages run Monday 6:30- 7:30pm on the diamond behind the Wildwood Community Association, April 17-June 12.  There will be no game on May 22 due to the holiday.

The program will be open to ages 5-12  (born 2018 – 2011) but the majority of our players will be under ten.

Our aim is to have all ages playing together as we will likely not have enough players to split out age groups at this time.  Older players will need to acknowledge that the program will be geared towards younger players.  The safety of our players will be our biggest concern and we will be working with everybody to figure out how to make this fun for both our younger and older players.  Please send an email if you have concerns about how your child may fit into our on-field experience.  Our aim is to play a slow pitch style game of baseball.

All players will be required to supply their own helmet, glove and groin protection.  Lots of second hand equipment is available on kijiji/marketplace.  Also ask around the neighborhood or check out play it again sports. Please email if you have concerns regarding this, email in registration link.

The registration fee is $40/child and covers:

  • Baseball Hat
  • Year-end party
  • Field bookings
  • balls and bats will be available for use during practice and game play.  Feel free to bring your bat if you own one.
