This program is coordinated by volunteer parents and is dependent upon all parents to help where they can. Please be sure when filling out the registration form to indicate your volunteer preference. As in previous years, we will require approximately 36 co-coaches (coaching clinic will be available free of charge and no experience necessary), 18 team managers, 6 equipment volunteers, 4 communication volunteers, 25+ volunteers for the soccer windup party and lots of volunteers for various other positions. Find a friend or neighbour and coach together or alternate days! For further information or if you have any questions please email soccer@mywildwood.ca.
House League Soccer Registration – U9, U10
We’re excited to announce that in partnership with West Hills United Soccer Club, we’re back for House League Soccer Teams for Wildwood! This league is for U9 (children born in 2016) and U10 (children born in 2015) players, with the aim of forming teams of 10-13 players based on interest. The cost to join is $210 per player for WCA members. (If there is not enough interest, you will be refunded your fee and have the option of moving your player into the non-competitive U10 soccer program.)
Wildwood House League Soccer offers an authentic and challenging soccer experience, where kids can enhance their skills through actual game play. They’ll learn the rules of the sport, interact with referees, and play with larger nets, all of which are designed to foster significant growth as soccer players.
Team Composition and Schedule:
- The House League teams for U9 and U10 are inclusive and may be coed.
- Teams with a majority of boys will play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Teams with a majority of girls will play on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Please Note: Currently, we do not have fields secured for Monday and Wednesday games, but we are working diligently with the City of Calgary to resolve this. We’ll keep you updated on our progress.
